Coat hook with concealed screw hole
thingiverse
A simple wall-mount coat hook. Nothing fancy. Mounts onto the bracket (included) so that the screw/anchor is concealed. Designed for a ANSI #8 (Blue) wall anchor. Should be nearly as strong as the 20-30lb load for which those anchors are rated. Edit: Changed screw hole to be both countersink + counterbore, providing extra clearance to allow for a pan-head screw. Increased tolerance of within the screw hole too, to allow for small printing defects. Feel free to use the original design, [on Onshape] (https://cad.onshape.com/documents/fe2bb5f77ab92b060687a743/w/0fba28a587eca9c2d7dbe6e8/e/6f55ce0cbaefcd7c34971677?renderMode=0&uiState=63b9e044b2dfb337ea36f39d) Print the hook top-down, using brim and supports. See the photo for more details. 1) Print the bracket front-down with no support. 2) Install the wall anchor as you normally would. 3) Attach the bracket to the wall anchor using the anchor's matching screw, oriented so the hole is above the midline. 4) Slip the hook onto the bracket by sliding it downward.
