Coasters

Today I chose to pioneer in the footsteps of Makers Muse and create my own parts and models exclusively. This marks my inaugural project on this path. This is my drink coaster, The body can accommodate up to 10 coaster disks, and the disks I designed have a cup diameter of 72mm - just larger than the average size of a soda can or coffee mug in my household at least. Required items: 1 Coaster_Body 1-10 Coaster_Disks Optional: 3 Coaster_Feet Available is the f3d file for those inclined to remix or modify the diameter or heights as desired. If you do make a remix, please refer back to this original project and share your creations to inspire others. Happy making! Edit 1: Upon reviewing my model, I disliked the sharp edge at the top of the Coaster_Base. I uploaded a revised version with a chamfer for improved aesthetics. Edit 2: In a surprising oversight, I forgot the primary purpose of a coaster - protecting surfaces from water damage. I updated the coaster disk to V2, which closes the hexagon holes to prevent water from seeping through the disk.
