Using specialized software, a digital artist translated a vibrant Celtic knot design from its native PNG format into a versatile SVG file with Inkscape. This intricate knot pattern was then seamlessly integrated into Blender, where it served as the foundation for crafting a 3D coaster. By extruding the SVG knot, the artist established the base shape of the coaster, which was subsequently refined using Blender's robust solid modeling tools. The completed design was expertly exported as an STL file, ready to be brought to life in three dimensions.
