DIY Coffee Cup Heater That Works! Warning: The pad heats up to 100 degrees Celsius. 12V 12W Heat Pad (about 11.5V / 0.9A at a 12V/1.5A Power Supply) This DIY coffee cup heater has room for improvement but it works fine. Drawing updated after my last build and I found some issues. Self-switching by Cup Weight (3 Parallel Switches) There is space for an IRFZ44N MOSFET and wires in the design (last update). I used a mini version of the 2SK2503 MOSFET for switching (10k/100k resistor). The switches can only hold 50mA, although they survive 1A for two weeks using and going.
