This is a drink coaster with a robot logo (Ultimaker). There are two models, one file positive and the other negative. You can print it with single or multiple color, using filament or resin, and show me what you've created. This standard size coaster measures 100 by 100 by 5 mm to fit in my coaster holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 I printed this model using Ultimaker white PLA at 0.2mm layer height and 18% infill with a 0.4mm nozzle set at 210 degrees Celsius, heated bed included. To prevent curling up at the bottom, I used a brim. Feel free to use your own configuration. Design steps I found a logo on my browser and converted it into SVG format using Inkscape (see video*). Opened the SVG file in Blender and turned it into a 3D object. In Meshmixer, I repaired the file using the 'Inspector' button under the 'Analysis' tab. I added a drink coaster to the model in Meshmixer and made it using simple techniques in 123D Design. You can also create a template of a drink coaster in another program like Tinkercad. Then, I merged the drink coaster with the 3D logo model after scaling it in Meshmixer. In Meshmixer, I created the positive file. For the negative model, I used 123Design to subtract the file from a drink coaster and saved it as an STL file for printing. Although the model still had some issues even after repairing it in Meshmixer, I decided to export it into Netfabb Online Service. This free STL repair service almost completely fixed the model after modeling something. After this process, I previewed the model in my slicer (which I recommend doing before printing a model). The preview looked great with perfect lines; so I could print it without any problems.
