Coaster holder Voronoi style

Hey! Here is a super handy and useful design for all my coasters. The Coaster Holder Voronoi can hold (round) coasters with a 100mm diameter, but if you're smart, you can scale the model in your favorite design program to make it fit perfectly. This model has a nice voronoi pattern that will catch everyone's eye, and it can hold up to eight coasters when each is only 5 mm high. This print was made with a speed of 60mm/s using a 0.20 mm density and 18% infill with Ultimaker White PLA. The other one has the same settings but with Ultimaker silver metallic PLA - it's a game-changer! Check out this video by layer by layer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh5jKgsEQak First, I created a base form in Fusion 360 so that I could apply the voronoi pattern to it. Then, I used Meshmixer to deform the base from a square shape to a triangular one on the outside of the model - this is what creates the voronoi pattern. By reducing the mesh with small and bigger brushes, you can create even more interesting shapes. I really enjoyed watching this video because the proceedings were explained in such detail. Well-founded videos like these stick with me for a long time. For me, making this project was incredibly helpful - I learned how to apply a plane cut in my models and keep both shapes intact. This means I can apply the voronoi pattern just to the upper part of the model and leave the lower part untouched, which is really important when you're using high-detailed bottoms. A downside is that it takes significantly longer to print these objects with FFF printing, but for me, it's always a trade-off between speed and quality. I hope you enjoy the video!
