Coaster Holder
prusaprinters

These models are for a drinks coaster holder. Originally designed for my Formula 1 and Racing Circuit coaster series. However, they will fit any 90 mm circular coasters.

The different model C values denote how many coasters it can hold, assuming they are 7-8 mm thick. So, a C5 will hold 5 coasters.

Dimensions

All the coaster holders share the same 91 mm ID and 97 mm OD. The height will depend on the version of the model.

The formula is:

(C * 7.2 mm) + 5 mm

Where
C
is the number of coasters.

So, for the C5 the total height is
(5 * 7.2) + 5 = 84.2 mm

Files

I have included 3MF files for the
C5
,
C8
,
C10
, and
C11
. I included
C11
as that ties in nicely with creating two holders for the 22 coasters in the Formula 1 Coaster collection.

Print Settings

Nothing special here. Choose whatever settings you prefer. For my own prints, I chose:

0.2 mm layers

15% infill in the base

0% infill for the walls (you can use the Height Range Modifier in PrusaSlicer for this)

You may want to choose 0.15 mm layers where the rounded parts are at the bottom and top of the slot for a smoother finish.
