Coaster for a beagleboard
thingiverse
To protect my Beagleboard revisions B and C from short circuits, I decided to create custom coasters using OpenSCAD. After overcoming a learning curve, I adjusted dimensions for ABS shrinkage, resulting in functional coasters. The 3mm edge thickness almost filled the MakerGear BigHead build area; a smaller nozzle might offer more space. Future support for Beagleboard-xM is planned after modifying my platform's bolt countersinking. For updates and the latest version, visit http://gitorious.org/hacks/things/trees/master. To use the coasters, print the STL file and insert your board. You can also edit the original OpenSCAD file to customize edge thickness or add screw hole stubs by adjusting parameters provided at the top of the file.
With this file you will be able to print Coaster for a beagleboard with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Coaster for a beagleboard.
