An older project will undergo a design overhaul to meet the Challenge's requirements. The updated vehicle, named Coanda Vertical Lift Transportation, will employ an AUGDP surface and be powered by a zero-emission hydrogen Pulse Detonation Turbine for its coaxial rotors on the roof and a hydrogen fuel cell for its electromagnetic levitation propulsion drive wheels. During flight, tilted spinning wheels generate a Vertex/Cyclon stream from the hull. The Coanda effect, combined with an Electro-AeroDynamics surface (One Atmosphere Glow Discharge Plasma), will dynamically control boundary layer flow and drag, enhancing lift. The vehicle boasts 135/20 wheels on 30" rims.
