CO2 Rockets & Launcher Components
thingiverse
This started off as a test of several compact CO2 rocket designs, but it quickly turned into a disappointing failure during testing. I haven't had time to return to this project yet, but I believe a thin layer of 3-in-1 oil inside the launcher assembly will enable the ram to slide more smoothly, resulting in a larger hole in the CO2 cartridge and hopefully achieving a proper launch. Another possibility would be drilling the nail hole slightly larger to install a larger nail. The assembly and testing video is available at: https://youtu.be/9ERqcfAQA_c Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% for the rockets and greater than 50% for the ram and coupler Post-Printing Please watch the video for assembly instructions and my testing results.
