!!! BE PREPARED - CO2 AND HIGH PRESSURE CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS !!! !!! TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS !!! This is a state-of-the-art CO2 cartridge rocket. You will need to gather the following components: -a CO2 cartridge (used in airsoft, such as the 12g Umarex) -a 40mm PVC Pipe (2 or 3 mm thick; print the rocket model accordingly, with the 2mm version having a looser fit than the 3mm version) -A 2mm nail -Small diameter metal wire (1 mm or less) Position the fins correctly, ensuring the leading edge points upwards when deployed. Secure them in place using small metal wire (you can glue it or simply bend the wire to hold it steady). Attach the nail to the end cap. Assemble the cap onto the PVC pipe. Load a CO2 cartridge into the rocket. Hold the tube at an angle of 45 to 70 degrees. Carefully drop the rocket into the tube; the nail should puncture the valve, and the rocket will fly out. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS, AS CO2 IS UNDER VERY HIGH PRESSURE. THERE IS A REAL RISK OF EXPLOSION. To minimize this risk, thoroughly test everything beforehand. Ensure the rocket slides freely in the pipe. You can drill small holes at the base of the pipe to prevent gas buildup and achieve a cool smoke effect.
