CO2 Racer
thingiverse
This is a CO2 racer designed to take in a small CO2 cartridge through its rear. If your printer is less than 12 inches tall, you'll need to use the split version of the racer. The parts needed, aside from a 3D printer and about 150 grams of filament, include 1/8 inch steel rods for axles and a race track to compete on. For split prints, these same axles will be used to connect the parts together. Optional washers can be placed between wheels and body to provide extra support. A hole is drilled through the front of the car to allow string to be woven through its body. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Rafts: Not Required Supports: Yes, Enabled Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill Percentage: 10% Notes: Ensure good bed adhesion to prevent warping or the dreaded spaghetti effect. Post-Printing After printing, remove all supports and perform some hand sanding if necessary. A glossy spray coat can also help enhance the finish, but make sure not to get it inside the axle holes.
