This design is intended to be used with 30mm mirrors cut from hard disk platters, but you can also use real mirrors if you prefer. Just keep in mind that the optimal distance between the mirror and the mount block should be about 2mm. The design has been tested on a 100 Watt CO2 Reci Laser tube without any major issues, as long as the laser was properly aligned beforehand. However, your mileage may vary, so proceed with caution. I would recommend using this design for 40 Watt CO2 laser tubes or lower, since the mirrors tend to get extremely hot on larger lasers. To mitigate this issue, you could glue a heat sink in place behind the mirror. To verify whether the mirrors deform during lasing, I plan to take some images with a FLIR camera. All hardware used in this design is 3mm thick. The three shoulder screws are designed to hold an elastic band or o-ring, which will act as a spring to adjust the mirror angle. You can use thumb screws that are 12mm long, but regular screws will work just fine in their place. The nozzle tube v3 has been redesigned with a slight taper on the end to make it easier to slip on. Additionally, the neck area around where the lens goes has been reinforced for added strength.
