CO2 Dragster, A woodshop project reimagined
thingiverse
This is a fresh take on the classic woodshop activity of CO2 dragsters. By ditching chiseling the dragster out of wood, students get to use additive manufacturing and computer-aided design to print their very own dragsters. With motion equations, weighted nickel test runs, and iterative prototypes, they can even figure out the total force exerted on their model by the compressed CO2 engine!
