Still waiting for delivery of my new machine, which I haven't had a chance to test yet. As soon as it arrives, I plan to put it through its paces and see how well it performs. The specs look promising, but only time will tell if it lives up to expectations. The design appears to be solid, with a robust build and high-quality components. I'm particularly excited about the use of LM8LUU linear bearings, which should provide smooth motion and precise control. To ensure everything stays in place, I'll be using M3 countersunk fasteners to clamp down on the linear bearings. For added stability, I've chosen to use M4 screws to secure the spindle. This will help keep everything aligned and prevent any potential wobble or vibration during operation. Once the machine is assembled, I'll need to insert the TR8 lead screw nut from the bottom - it's essential that this is done carefully, as the nut needs support while printing. To mitigate backlash and ensure smooth movement, I've also included an anti-backlash spring and nut, which will be inserted from the top. If anything struggles during assembly or testing, please don't hesitate to let me know.
