Transform a lackluster china-CNC into a formidable force. Begin by installing a sturdy spindle motor mount for a 43mm Eurohals unit. I opted for the AMB (formerly Kress) 530 FM model, which proved to be an excellent choice. With the printed acrylic motor mount in place, I was able to machine a new holder out of 10mm aluminum with precision tolerances of 0.02mm. The printed holder has held up remarkably well so far, but the introduction of the aluminum mount has significantly boosted my machining speed - up to an astonishing 500mm/min when using a 5mm 4-flute endmill in aluminum.
