CNC workholding Cam setup
cults3d
A simple setup for holding your work to your CNC bed. There is a Cam handle with an offset bolt, turn the handle to increase pressure onto the chocks provided to clamp against the work. The chocks come in large and small. The small one allows you to close the gap from the cam to the work in 3mm increments when used against the large chock. On the other end there is the stop block, this is a simple block with a 6mm hole. I use an aluminium bed with pre-drilled/tapped holes, you can easily do the same with a wooden waste board by just using screws. For strength purposes I'd suggest 4 perimeters and at least 30% infill.
