I really appreciated Karl Williams' design, so I fired up my CAD program and crafted a customized version to match my 52mm spindle and standard 2.5-inch shopvac hose. It's working exceptionally well so far, and I'm considering upgrading it later with some brush bristles or clear plastic strips. The boot comes off easily for tool changes and setting the home position, and with the vacuum running, it stays securely in place during cuts.
