First test [here](https://youtu.be/U8PehccbfD8) Real [carving test](https://youtu.be/gTEJJtSy3ZU) Real [cutting test](https://youtu.be/j_oX3_LkOoE) Real [marble carving test](https://youtu.be/_2F8fOF-rOs) **Read always updates at BOP** Uploaded STEP.ZIP with all items in STEP format. I think to not modify any item from now on... Pictures and movies while assembling. ** Uploaded final items, yet to update steps and global_stl...** I was impressed by [Ooznest OX CNC Machine](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1684109), it seems well designed, very strong and well documented (I advise to go there and [here](https://openbuilds.com/builds/ooznest-ox-cnc-machine.2084/) and read carefully), so I decided to build it. I already own several needed items but I miss many others (mainly 2060 and 2080 profiles) and I'm waiting for delivery. In the meantime, I made some remix: - all plates to accommodate Nema17 motors, leaving in place the holes for Nema23, in case I ever should need them - Y carriages now boxed, to better protect wheels from dust, chippings and whatever else - implemented the well-known Atmega and RAMPS 1.4, cheap and affordable - implemented a TB6600 stepper motor driver for Y axis motors - implemented an SSR relay DC-DC, valid option for direct or PWM drive the spindle motor - implemented X/Y/Z magnetic endstops, not strictly necessary but... - implemented a little blower, not so much but better than nothing - implemented a safety switch that can act as main power switch too - implemented a Chinese 200W spindle motor 12V 5000RPM / 24V 10000RPM. I bought it because I don't need a more robust one, but you can find a bunch of spindle motors at Aliexpress at reasonable prices. - implemented cooling covers for Nema23, you'll need them for sure - lowered work plane by 20mm, gained in favor of Z axis - you can see in the third image a suggested work plane made by seven 2040 profiles; this way you can lock everything in place everywhere - changed location to electronic items too and added an 2060 profile to protect them - implemented a vacuum dust collecting system with Neato motor (that of Roomba) Most of above remixes are due to my limited budget, but all is easily upgradable in the future. Working limits are X 290mm Y 500mm Z 35mm All red items are 3D printed, green are vacuum system, those greyish are metal. I provided a laser support too for who loves engraving. If anyone is interested to, the whole project CNC_V7 Oozenest can be found [here](https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8SIbFH5NFYd) P.S. I apologize but I discovered a conceptual error, so I re-uploaded the images.
