Read always Updates at BOP After published my previous CNC on Thingiverse I began to remix it (yes, another yet...) making use of linear rails, today sufficiently cheap in China, and already thoroughly tested in my HCE printer with good results. This way we achieve more axes rigidity and tighter tolerances in moves. Before someone ask about, I'll provided soon also STP files. Added supports for laser and smaller motors. Hope you'll like it. I didn't find the original BOM, but the parts needed should be: n. 1 Arduino Uno + Arduino CNC shield v. 3.0 n. 1 ATmega2560 + RAMPS 1.4 n. 4 Nema 17 n. 1 TB6660 driver (optional) n. 1 SSR relay VDCin-VDC-out 20A n. 1 spindle motor OD 52mm, 200W or more, 12-24VDC n. 1 Chuck Holder ER11 8mm collet n. 1 spindle collets set 13 pcs n. 1 power supply 12VDC min. 5A n. 1 power switch n. 1/2 5VDC Arduino relay module(s) (optional) n. 2 2040 rails 500mm n. 2 2040 rails 300mm (add 8 more for optional work plane) n. 2 2020 rails 300mm n. 4 2020 corner locks n. 10 LM8UU (LM10UU for 10mm rods) n. 4 square Neodimium magnets, if used Arduino Uno n. 8 bearings 608ZZ n. 2 8/10mm rod 430mm n. 2 8/10mm rod 320mm n. 2 8/10mm rod 150mm n. 2 lead screws 8mm 400mm n. 1 lead screw 8mm 120mm n. 4 couplers 5/8mm n. 3 Hall effect sensors for endstops (optional) n. 3 8x3mm round Neodimium magnets, if used Hall sensors n. 1 centrifugal blower 50mm n. 2 Transmission Chains 10 x 15mm screws 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, nuts, brass knurled nuts, as needed lithium grease silicone or sewing machine oil Sorry for inconvenience...
