CNC T-Slot Hold Down

A custom-made hold-down clamp designed specifically for a budget-friendly CNC machine with a T-Slot bed, similar to yours. This clamp can also be adapted for use on other machines. The clamp was printed using PETG at a layer thickness of 0.3mm and an infill density of over 50% to ensure maximum strength. I experimented with different infill settings and found that printing at 95% worked well, but some versions were made at 65% with equally good results. This design accommodates a standard 5/16-inch carriage bolt, which fits neatly into the T-Slot. A 3-inch bolt was used for this prototype, but it's slightly longer than necessary. To complete the clamp, you'll need to add a hex nut and washer or wing nut.
