The steppers on my CNC Shield are running extremely hot, causing them to smoke. In a pinch, I used an 80mm fan to create this makeshift cooler. The forced air cooling is working wonders, keeping the steppers well below the melting point of lead. To build mine, I printed the parts in PLA and secured the top and bottom together using acrylic glue, achieving excellent results.
