CNC router built from other designs
thingiverse
I constructed a CNC router by following various designs, primarily using aluminum channel and steel. I started by assembling the table and then customized the gantry to fit accordingly. The size of your build can be adjusted in this manner, but proper reinforcement is crucial. For the control board, I purchased from HobbyCNC, while NEMA 23 motors were sourced on eBay. I also built a 24v, 7A power supply myself. Some helpful resources I consulted include 8020cnc.com, buildyourcnc.com/step3_1.aspx, cnczone.com, and cncroutersource.com.
