CNC Router Aluminium

CNC Router Aluminium

thingiverse

This design was created after building a few CNC routers with moving gantries and is my first aluminium profile-based project. The BOM includes: 45x45mm aluminium profiles in various lengths, M6 and M5 T-nuts, corner brackets, an aluminium plate for the z-axis, and a large MDF sheet for the x-axis. Hardware like hardened chrome-plated shafts, shaft supports, ball screws, and couplings are also needed, along with three sets of BK/BF12 with locknuts and circlips. Additionally, this design requires three Nema 23 steppers, a Kress 800FME spindle, a mount for the spindle, mechanical limit switches, and two line lasers for laser crosshairs.
