A CNC router concept is proposed with minimal milled or CNC-produced parts, allowing easy assembly at home using just a pillar drill and jigsaw cutter. Ballscrews and other CNC components can be sourced from eBay. The Kress spindle will be utilized, while LinuxCNC and Luc DeGrande's boards (based on Toshiba THB6064AH) control the axis movements. Thanks to Marcus for introducing the Kress spindle concept.
