My DIY CNC router for personal projects and homework assignments. A compilation of various designs can be found here. The body is precision-milled from a high-density fiberboard that's 10mm thick. Components are printed using ABS and G-PET plastic materials (the type of plastic used is specified in each part name). Unless otherwise indicated, all items have the specified quantity listed. Electronics are based on an Arduino UNO board combined with a CNC shield and A4988 drivers. GRBL1.1 firmware has been installed for optimal performance. I also use a classic relay Arduino shield to power my Dremmel stage. The X and Y motors adhere to the NEMA23 standard, while the Z motors (which consist of two separate PCBs) follow the NEMA17 standard. A 12V, 10A PSU powers the entire system. Driver cooling is achieved using a 50mm fan. I utilize LM8UU bearings for both the X and Z axes. Additionally, I use LM10UU bearings for the Y axis. Other parts are sourced from standard 3D printer kits.
