To alleviate boredom, I designed a new 4 x 4 CNC Router in Fusion 360, similar to my previous model but featuring 8016 extrusions for side rails and gantry. It includes dual 20mm profile rails and 20mm ball screws on all axes, along with Nema 34 stepper motors, couplers, a 2.2 kw spindle, and BK/BF bearings from GrabCad. I made several updates, including fixing a hole placement issue, rebuilding the model, resolving motor/ballscrew alignment issues, adding limit switches, and correcting missing holes. The latest version also includes a tray for X Axis cable management and improved clearance for an X Axis proximity switch. Please let me know of any issues you find so I can make further improvements.
