At Cologne's Dingfabrik.de fablab, we created a custom storage for small Dremel and Proxxon tools using a 4-layered DIN-A4 sized 4mm plywood box cut by a CNC mill with a 3mm drill bit. The bottom three layers are glued to form the base while a 12mm M3 screw secures the top layer and serves as a slide for opening. Spherical tools can be easily accommodated by drilling larger fitting holes in the box itself, requiring no further code modifications.
