CNC Kuksa Cup Model, Wooden Cup, Jigs Included!
cults3d
This is a 75mm high Kuksa Cup Model for carving on a CNC. I carved this on my Shapeoko 3 with a flat end mill and a ball end mill out of douglas fir though other woods such as walnut or cherry are probably better suited. I've included STL files as well as the bottom cut jig I used for carving the bottom. First cut the top, down to a finished surface, then cut the bottom jig, then put the cup face down in the jig and either hot glue, or even quick epoxy to secure it in the pocket, and cut the bottom. Then heat in an oven and remove the cup from the jig.
