CNC Hold Down Clamp

CNC Hold Down Clamp

I fashioned these clamps from aluminum years ago, and since then I've crafted a multitude of hold downs and clamps. However, I still rely on the aluminum ones 90% of the time, so I thought it would be beneficial to create an STL and a DXF for anyone who wants their own. The DXFs feature two holes in each end: one for a 5mm screw if desired, and another smaller hole for tapping. I started by cutting the slots inside the lines before attaching them through the holes, then completed the perimeters of them using a 1/8 one flute up-cut carbide bit on the lines. You can cut this design with your X Carve using this project: https://easel.inventables.com/projects/vcoVCcERF9RT3rfIHe15Iw.
