Mount a high-performance rc-brushless outrunner using an advanced stepper damper to significantly reduce vibration and noise. Small 250 rc helicopter motor with a robust 2.3 mm shaft for easy fitting into a budget-friendly chuck. The brushless controller is connected directly to the servo pin on the printer board, requiring activation of the servo in Marlin to enable control of the motor from G-code. The design includes holes for both CR-10 and CTC i3 Pro B models. This setup works exceptionally well for living-room milling applications and has been a reliable choice for me. For creating G-code, I rely on blendercam, which delivers excellent results. Additionally, my program qdiiibp.de can be used for 2D engraving, or Inkscape laser plugins with Z-axis up and down commands to control laser on and off functions. A separate version is included without the stepper damper and direct motor mount, along with IGES files for easy editing and customization.
