CNC Digitizing Probe

This is a simple and fast digitizing probe suitable for use with a CNC machine. It's perfect for creating point clouds and auto-levelling applications. Take a look at Mach3's digitizing wizards, which provide an excellent starting point. To build this probe, you'll need the following components: a length of 1/8th inch brass tubing, three thirty-second inch stainless steel rods, one tactile switch measuring six by six by four and a half millimeters, and a one-eighth inch tool shank - I used a broken PCB drill bit.
