CNC contoller for bCNC
thingiverse
This is an enclosure for a GRBL CNC controller keyboard that I specifically designed for my homemade CNC machine. If you plug this into a computer running bCNC, it appears as a standard keyboard but isn't. To move each axis on your machine, you push the corresponding buttons - two for each axis. The Z-Axis buttons are located on the right side. A rotary encoder and an OLED display have also been added to set the step distance for each button press. If you push the X+ button, it sends multiple keystrokes to the computer (bCNC), initiating the GRBL controller to move a specified amount of mm on the x-axis. Because I occasionally accidentally pushed one of the buttons while working on the CNC, an enable button (a small red button) has been added at the top. This means you have to push the red button and another button to actually move an axis.
