These are 3D printed workholding clamps designed specifically for use with CNC Routers. They seamlessly integrate with M5 and 1/4-20 hardware to provide a secure and efficient clamping system. The clamps trap a 1/4-20 nut, allowing a corresponding bolt to thread through it and form the clamp's foot. This design enables users to create a sturdy base for their workpiece while protecting the machine bed from damage. Additionally, the "bolt foot" component can be used to enlarge the surface area of the 1/4 bolt head, further securing the part in place. The M5 hand knob is another crucial element, as it fits over the hex head of an M5 bolt, making it easier to tighten and secure the workpiece. These clamps deliver ample clamping force for milling a variety of materials, including wood, plastics, and even aluminum. Moreover, if the cutting bit comes into contact with the clamp, it is likely that the bit will cut through the clamp rather than breaking, minimizing downtime and damage.
