CNC Bit Holder

CNC Bit Holder

After creating my own CNC mill and acquiring a SainSmart Genmitsu CNC Router 3018-PROVer, I realized I needed a secure location to store my abundant collection of carving and engraving bits. This design holds 40 bits with an approximate shaft diameter of 3.17mm, making it the perfect solution for my needs. The 10 on the far right are slightly shorter than the others due to the V-shape bits, which have a different length compared to the flat nose bits. A moderate infill of 20% is more than enough to ensure stability, and the precision of my Prusa MK3S makes for a seamless fit. I used strong MK2 x 2mm magnets (4 on each side) and flipped them for optimal magnetic attraction. With some E6000 adhesive, they remained firmly in place without any movement.
