This design was crafted to refine the GRBL settings by meticulously measuring each axis's movement and the repeatability of these moves so we could accurately calculate the average GRBL values. I also highly recommend using Clockwise Tools' DIGR-0105 Electronic Digital Indicator Gage Gauge, which features inch/metric conversion, a 0-1 Inch/25.4 mm measuring range, and back lug auto-off, along with their DTCR-01 RS232 (USB) Digital Indicator Data Transfer Cable to import readings into the computer for statistical analysis. **Note:** This model is not fully parametric because individual X/Y support arm requirements vary greatly, necessitating manual adjustments instead of a single fixed design. I created this design specifically for an 800-watt water-cooled spindle (65mm) and tested it down to a 400-watt size (52mm), but outside of that range, the strut size must be manually adjusted. **Note:** The STL file provided is the final model and will fit a 3040 CNC with an 800-watt water-cooled spindle. If you have this setup, there's no need to use the customizer. It should also work on a 3020 or 3060 with the same-sized spindle.
