As a beginner in 3D CAD, utilizing Fusion 360 for my initial design, I aimed for a robust and sturdy structure. This creation can accommodate both laser burning and plastic extrusion components, which attach to an "option plate" fixed on the spindle bracket. The water-cooled spindle remains cool via a PC water cooling setup featuring a 240mm radiator, pump, and reservoir. I'm acquiring parts gradually, providing progress pictures along the way. My extrusions are 80mm square and thicker wall type 21/8. By August 28th, I added plastic components for the spool holder, plus two temporary plates to test fitting the 3D print head and laser module; these plates will be adjusted to match the modules when they arrive.
