I design a custom spindle holder for my CNC3018 machine, fixing the problem with the old one's tightness. I'm confident you'll love it, make good use of it, and be thrilled with your own machine. The material I chose is PLA, but PETG, ABS, and any other material that won't shrink when cooled can also work well. For optimal printing results, use a nozzle size between 0.6 and 0.8 mm for faster prints, and layer heights between 0.45 and 0.6 mm to achieve a smooth finish. Maintain a medium-high printing speed and adjust the outer/inner shell speeds to low-medium levels. Keep an eye out for under-extrusion issues. If your printer starts oozing excessively, carefully sand the area around the bearings to prevent any damage. You may also need to glue or apply some scotch tape around the bearings to secure them in place, depending on the material you're using – just be sure everything else will turn out alright.
