CNC 3018 Power Supply Cover

This upgrade part is designed specifically for the "Woodpecker CNC 3018" and similar engraving machines, including models like the 1610 and 2418. Its main purpose is to add a protective cover that prevents access to the high-voltage PSU terminals when using a power supply mounted directly to the frame alongside an "Eddystone" enclosure box for the mainboard. I personally used a 36v 10A power supply, which I mounted to my machine's frame. This upgrade allowed me to achieve higher milling speeds of over 9000 RPM, significantly outpacing the stock 24v speed of 7000 RPM. However, before making this change, I first had to verify that my mainboard could handle the increased voltage. Thankfully, the onboard regulator on the board was more than capable of handling it. The upgrade part itself is quite simple in design. It features two M3 nuts pressed into place on either side and is secured through the ventilation holes of the PSU using two M3 bolts. To assemble this part, you will need to have the following components: * 2x M3 Nuts * 2x M3 Bolts * Optional: 2-Part Epoxy / Super Glue (in case the nuts fall out during assembly) If you're interested in mounting brackets for your PSU, I've also designed a separate upgrade part that can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052647
