Clamps and spacers for attaching 1 point 6 millimeter copper clad boards to the CNC3018 router securely are readily available. This setup may work effectively with other routers, but it might necessitate adjusting the hole centers to align them with the slots in the bed accurately. A minimum of three 1 point 6 millimeter lift clamps and at least one 1 point 6 millimeter lift long clamp are required. The actual number may vary depending on the size of the board that needs to be held firmly in place. The 1 point 6 millimeter packers can be utilized effectively for supporting the center of the board. It is highly recommended to use double-sided tape to hold the packers to the board and the bed, thereby preventing the board from bulging at the center. If preferred, the packers can be replaced with offcuts of copper clad boards efficiently.
