These upgrade parts for the Woodpecker CNC 3018 and similar engraving machines, including the 1610 and 2418 models, are specifically designed to accommodate a 360W power supply on the 2020 extrusion frame of these machines. I wanted to upgrade my machine's power supply to a higher voltage rating, which would also involve mounting it directly onto the frame. This approach has several benefits, including keeping the entire system as one compact unit and allowing for significantly faster spindle speeds of over 9000 RPM compared to the standard speed of 7000 RPM. Before proceeding with the upgrade, I first checked that my board's voltage regulator could handle the increased voltage requirement.
