Spray Cooling Unit - 80mm Spindle This unit is designed to ensure that CNC tools receive cooling assistance throughout the entire work period, regardless of their position in relation to the part. Removing chips from the cut work area is also a crucial task to obtain 100% performance from cutting tools. By blowing from three different positions, the working area remains chip-free at all times. The Cooling Emulsion used will lubricate the cut tool during the cutting process and minimize the chances of chips fusing or welding to it. If your CNC machine is equipped to receive, collect, and reuse the Cooling Emulsion, the Spray Cooling Unit comes with three 2.0mm nozzles. If your CNC cannot handle a large volume of liquid well, use the 0.5 Single Nozzle in tandem with a Mist Cooling System that combines air and Cooling Emulsion. The unit is connected to a 10mm hose and comes with 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0mm nozzles. The nozzle angle can be adjusted for optimal cooling. Before printing this unit, ensure it fits your CNC (designed for an 80mm spindle) and that the Spindle Holder is mounted in an optimal position to the "Z" plate to accommodate the Spray Cooling Unit. Before using this unit, make sure it will not collide with CNC parts - frame, vice, tool changer, etc. Ensure that the Cooling Emulsion cannot reach any electrical or mechanical parts that are not water-tight or water-resistant! Always wear proper safety equipment when using this unit! All parts have been checked for naked edges or errors and are printable.
