I successfully removed the bolt that secures the spindle on my Linksprite 1610 CNC machine. I decided to take advantage of this opportunity to create an entirely new carriage, utilizing measurements from [a few online sources](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2748598). Key features of this carriage include: 1. The entire design is fully parametric. 2. It has a raised spindle clamp that increases the clamping surface when using an ER11 collet, which tends to be longer than the standard collet. 3. A [GoPro knob](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1697873) is used for securing the spindle (25mm M5 bolt and M5 nut). 4. (Optional) The wide body version includes [Despair's Z endstop plate](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2766350) on either side, along with a cable tie mount point. 5. (Optional) Dovetail mounts are built into the carriage on either side of the spindle for accessories such as dust collection and camera mounts. There are several versions of this carriage available, including a wide-body version with a raised clamping section, dovetail mounts, and endstop mounts, one without the lift, and another that closely resembles the original carriage with just the improved front clamp. I have also included a simple block for safely removing the LM8UU bearings (they're not too tight). The screw nut is slightly tighter, but it still pops out easily enough.
