With this adapter you can increase the headroom of the CNC 1419 by about 30mm. This is especially useful when you want to use a vice on the milling bed, like I do, or you prefer to mount a sacrifice plate ('Opferplatte'). After the mod the headroom above the vice now exceeds the max travel distance of the z-axis.
