Shooting with a CMMG Rimfire Conversion Kit for your AR15 allows for gas to travel back along your stock charging handle. This insert helps reduce the amount of gas that reaches your face. Installation is a little tricky because the tolerances are tight and it will want to install sideways. I found the best way to install this is to grip a cross brace on it with pliers and do one end at a time.
