CMBR Hinged Box

CMBR Hinged Box

thingiverse

The shape of this object embodies the fluctuations in the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMBR) across all vistas. And it's a cleverly designed hinged box... and bears a striking resemblance to a meatball. Comedian George Carlin famously quipped, "You can't have everything. Where would you put it?" The CMBR represents the pinnacle of our current understanding and the furthest extent of knowledge that exists. Where indeed would we place everything? Clearly, within the bounds of the known universe itself. It's a futile endeavor to attempt to contain everything within this sphere, yet for small objects, this miniature replica of the cosmos will suffice admirably. The interior cones are deliberately disconnected from the outer shell. These design choices serve to minimize the volume of support material required. Printing onto a raft is recommended as a viable option. This creation was crafted using Tinkercad. Feel free to edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/1MfvOfJmJ1C
