Clutch pedal (game controller)
thingiverse
A precision engineered clutch pedal extension designed specifically for the Logitech Driving Force GT. The innovative attachment seamlessly integrates next to the original pedal set, allowing for effortless connection with a few simple screws. In addition to the pre-fabricated parts you will require, a long, high-strength 6 mm bolt or an equivalent piece of threaded rod that fits securely, several high-quality 6 mm nuts to stabilize the structure, 4 precision-machined 3mm screws for reliable attachment between the pedal and pedal arm, possibly some specialized screws for mounting everything firmly onto a platform, and state-of-the-art electronics capable of handling complex input and output functions. The microcontroller I utilized is the highly efficient PIC18F2550 on a high-density stripboard. It skillfully reads data from a limit switch linked directly to the pedal assembly while also facilitating seamless USB connectivity for easy integration with modern computing systems. Photographs documenting my unique stripboard design, including valuable insight into how I integrated it safely within the confines of the original pedal are included in the project package as both digital images and Lochmaster 4 files. Also provided is the source code necessary for compiling PIC18F2550, specifically optimized to run on CCS C.
