# Club Quarantine Trophy ## Hello Plampers! * (This is a very specific trophy for a twitch channel called Club Quarantine. If you're not part of that you might not be interested! :) ) * I was happy with the prior version of my cone, but I wanted to make it easier to print and minimize the time spent babysitting the print waiting for a filament change. I refactored every piece. * The cone now has an easier to print design with less jagginess * The base now prints straight up which makes it look better and no need for supports * The base now has a front plate you glue on. This greatly simplifies the base print and the time spent on filament change baby sitting. ## Suggested Filaments For the small cone: * Cone - Any white PLA - since you'll be putting a tea light inside this, you need to choose a lighter color if you want the light to show through. * Base - Any white PLA * Front plate - white bottom layer with a black top layer For the large cone: * Go crazy, do what you want! The version Dave has on set is a white cone, black base, and black bottom front plate with a white lettering top. ## Light * I used "Homemory LED Tea Light Candles" from amazon to illuminate the cone. I imagine any LED tea light would work but you might need to scale or file or sand the base a bit if the size is different. ## Easiest option - print the three gcode files * If you have a Prusa i3 or a Prusa Mini, you should be able to just download the three small cone gcode files and go. * The cone top is simple and should print with no problems. * The trophy base is simple and should print with no problems. * The front plate requires a filament change which is coded into the gcode. Print all three parts and super glue the front plate onto the base. Insert the tea light into the cone, insert the cone into the base. ## Advanced option - print the STL * The cone top is simple and should print with no problems. Draft resolution is fine. I suggest printing the cone on a raft unless you really trust your bed adhesion. * The trophy base is simple and should print with no problems. Draft resolution is fine. * The front plate will need to have a layer change encoded into with your slicer software. The letters start exactly halfway and the plate is 4mm tall, so if you're doing .2 layers, for example, you'll have 20 layers and the letters will start on layer 11. I suggest .2mm resolution or better if you want the letters to be crisp and clean. # Notes * I've also included the files for the large version as seen on Dave Dresden's set! This version is not lit but works the same way. Print the cone and print the base. Then print the front plate with a filament change. Super glue the plate to the base and the cone to the base. * I also included 3MF files if you want them. ## Happy plamping!
