Clown Loach Hide-Away (Medium/Large)

Clown Loach Hide-Away (Medium/Large)

thingiverse

After spotting my trio of clown loaches snoozing in an unplugged circulation pump, I made a decision to create a secure haven for them to relax in and escape the intimidating gaze of their timid but friendly arowana neighbor. This design is highly adaptable and can be printed in three separate pieces or as a single unit, allowing for both medium-sized huts and larger ones to be built. Measuring 100mm in diameter and 125mm tall when fully constructed (with a larger size), the project also includes suction cups for secure placement. I will share photos of my fish enjoying their new hideaway once they become accustomed to it during rest periods. The print time can range from 18 hours, but so far, the results have been well worth the wait. I will provide updates as progress is made. I've researched various options and found that both ABS and PLA plastics have been used successfully in aquariums; however, due to liability concerns, I must emphasize that I am not responsible for any harm or illness caused by this project or its materials. Personal testing of ABS plastic in another tank revealed no issues, with the fish, shrimp, and snails even showing interest in it.
