I upgraded my CloverPlus, now running a 150mm diameter milled steel plate with a 100mm oil tank heater underneath it. The heater is insulated from the frame by floor foam cut to fit perfectly, the spring of the foam presses the thermistor snugly against the heat mat and firmly against the underside of the steel bed. I can start heating in just ten minutes or less, even faster with the aid of a hairdryer! The inductive sensor loves the steel and the optical endstops work flawlessly every time. I ran the inductive sensor through a relay, taking 12v directly from the PSU and feeding it to the relay coil; on the switch side, just two pins on the Ramps, no nasty voltage backfed from the inductive sensor. I also added a rigidifier, which helps loads, and a stiffy/spacer that enables attaching the printer to a cupboard. I use a deep single kitchen wall unit with a large glass door - it's perfect for storing crockery. The 8825 stepper drivers are installed inside the cupboard, resulting in ZERO noise! The RGB LED strip around the inner door frame adds an extra touch. I have huge respect for PBMAX for providing me with this joy that has been consistently amazing. I've gotten consistently high-quality prints every time, at SLA resin quality levels! Thanks also go to my dear friend Mark for his patience and kind supply of the carbon filament used in the effector - it's truly sublime. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
